I'll occasionally have a subway sandwich for lunch at work.. doesn't really count as take out though does it?
Very rarely eat fast food, but the closest to it that I do like is Chipotle Grill. Love their food, always fresh and not greasy.
We go to Subway at least once a week, and sometimes two or three times a week. Besides loving the food, we go there for a fast, low calorie meal. (Subs are probably the least fattening of the fast foods).
I avoid fast food like the plague...Honestly, generally it can't even be called food. But I can be seen as kind of a health nut so that might be it. I DO cave in and have pizza though! With lots of veggies so it's not completely pointless, haha. Maybe twice a year I get a veggie burger at Harvey's, too. I never go to McDonalds etc.
I like McDonald's cheese burgers, fries and their southwest chicken salad. Subway is what I prefer if I'm grabbing something to take home. I don't consider pizza junk food, so I eat that at least once per week.
There certainly are a lot of places to choose from. That's the fun of variety; you can change your favorite every month.
I think McDonald's has been following other restaurants' leads in the last couple years. They upgraded their coffee a while back and in my area they've added a buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwich to compete with Tim Horton's.
Locally I like the burgers at Wendy's best. When we're on the road, I like the chicken breakfast burritos and sweet tea at Chick-fil-A. I enjoy trying new restaurants and new fast food joints, especially when I travel. There are so many that it's hard to choose which is better.
On my last vacation, I mostly ate out at McDonald's, Wendy's, and Subway's. Yet I ate healthy. It sounds funny to be able to honestly say this. The reason I can say this: because most of the time I went to these famous-for-unhealthy foods restaurants was because of the health foods they're now forced to serve, such as salads. I'm certainly glad society made them offer healthy foods, not just Big Macs and other fattening foods.
