No one's mentioned my favorite.... Hugh Jackman. Granted, I've only watched him in his action/adventure movies; Van Helsing and the X-Men movies. But I do like him, my husband says its only his looks though. LOL
My favorite actors would have to be Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie and Nicholas Cage. I luv the way these three just let their part in a movie come out explicitly..
Jackman is one of the best Tony Award Show hosts I've seen. I had no idea he was so well rounded until I saw him on that event.
I think John Goodman is as good as any actor out there. He was great as a blue collar-type on "Roseanne." He was also good on the movie "The Babe." He even resembled Babe Ruth. When it comes to playing a neurotic-type, I think Jason Alexander is at least as good as Woody Allen. Alexander not only looked the part of a wimpy, neurotic character. His high voice was also perfect for the role of the neurotic "George" in Seinfeld.
Peter Stormare. I adore this man's accent, and his acting. One of the great unrecognized actors today-- he's been in so many big movies, but no-one seems to remember him. I first saw him in Fargo, and thought how effective he was in such a relatively minor role. And he was in Windtalkers, and The Lost World: Jurrasic Park-- he was probably best remembered for that.
