It amazes me how many televisions that are in each home these days. My family and I own 4 different televisions and a portable DVD player that we like to take camping. How many televisions do you own?
It's the one for each room syndrome, though they do range in size. There's one big main TV, a second lesser size but quality, and a couple of smaller ones that are older.
We have two old TVs and we're planning on getting a new one, so in a couple months we may have a count of three in a two bedroom condo. I used to have a hand-held one as well that died a few years ago.
We have five, one for each room plus one for the kids games downstairs. We even have a couple of back-ups for when the others finally give in. We just collect the old 27' ones that everyone is replacing with flat-screens.
We have three in our home. One is in the playroom, one is in the living room, and one in my bedroom. If I have my way I would get rid of all of all but the living room!
We have three televisions. A big one for the living room, another one for my mother's room and a smaller one for my brother's. I don't have a television in my room so I get to watch programs in the living room.
Does anybody here have a LED television? I've been very impressed with what I've seen of those in the store showrooms. I'd like to look into getting one of those.
We have three televisions and a portable DVD player for the long drive to my kids grandparents out of state. We also have three computers and I have a smart phone, we are a technology family.
I once lived in an apartment where my roomate and I had no TV during the time we lived in that apartment. She didn't like watching TV, so I came up with the idea of not bringing my television just to see how it would go. I liked it, as did she. Instead of being hooked on TV, I spent time listening to the FM, cooking, reading books, and working on my computer. I would not want to live by myself in an apartment without a TV, however.
