For those who own both a laptop and a desktop, which one do you use more often? Many people I know use their desktop as the main computer and they use the laptop only if it's not convenient for them to use the desktop.

I have both but hardly ever use my desktop these days. My laptop is newer and probably more powerful than my desktop.

Well in that case, it makes sense to use your laptop more. I have both also but I am still not used to my laptop, call me an old school guy. :)

I use my desktop a lot more, even though my laptop is faster. I get a lot more done when I'm sitting in a proper chair/desk environment with a large display and full keyboard and mouse.

I have both. I am more likely to be on the laptop though. The only reason for this is that, the laptop is faster & the laptop is mine. The desktop is the family's so there is always a waiting line to get on it.

I have both a desktop and a netbook, but I use my netbook more often. The netbook is faster(desktop is getting old.) and I like being able to sit on the couch or lay in bed and use my computer. So I would have to vote netbook, but if I'm going to be using the computer the type something out or am going to be on it for a long period of time I would use my desktop because of the bigger screen.

I use my desktop a lot more. It is much easier to use. The battery on my laptop runs out really fast

I'm definitely a laptop person, I can't imagine sitting at a desk every time I want to get something done. I like being able to sit back and relax on the couch with my computer in my lap.

Laptop...all the way. Love sitting on my couch and just chilling...would be kinda hard to set up a desktop on my couch.
