I have two cats, Pumpkin and Pearl. They're both fourteen soon-- Pearl in March and Pumpkin in May. I'm going through some major grief with Pumpkin right now; she's suddenly vomiting up every canned cat food I give her. The only thing she seems to be able to keep down is the juice from cans of tuna-- I've tried giving her broth from roasts and chicken (yes, I've skimmed the fat) but she doesn't seem to recognizethe broth as food. She likes the "gravy" part of canned cat food, but vomits that up after awhile too. Does anyone have any ideas at all about things she might drink that will settle or stay in her stomach? I'm really worried about her.
Have you taken Pumpkin to the vet lately? They're the ones who might know what to do. When my pet cockatiel got sick, I didn't take him to the vet right away. He died later that day. The reason I mention my bird is that I'd hate to see anyone lose a pet that might be able to be saved.
