I've been hearing rumors about a confirmed Playstation 4, and a possible new generation of Xbox.

If it's anything as expensive as the PS3 was when it came out, I'll not be getting it.

Original Xbox : released in 2001 in NA.

Xbox 360 : released in 2005.

 

If there are trends that means it's a year late already. xD

Oh my... Well if sony goes with their usual, then most likely we'll see a ps4 next year, and the ps3 will sell till 2015.... Doubtful, me thinks, although the ps3 isn't making them any money

Microsoft have been updating the Xbox 360 frequently recently, I'm not sure if they have a new Xbox in mind but who knows? All I know is that they are creating that virtual gaming system for the Xbox.

Yeah, they'd end up manufacturing for another two years probably. xD

If PS3 came out with a nextgen, people would expect Xbox to release one as well, and since they've put so much money into the new Xbox 360 S and the Project Natal or whatever it was, making a new generation would bring up the expenses quite a lot. It could actually be Playstations plan, you never know.

What I hate about the next gen console coming out is that most gaming productions for last gen consoles slows down allot.

Eh, for a rumor site the Sony one seems pretty legit.
